Famous Last Words - My God, My God, why ...

John Taylor, April 9, 2017

Part of the Famous Last Words series, preached at a West Rooftop, Sunday 3rd Service service

We're on part 2 of Jesus' "Famous Last Words". This time we are revisiting the words Jesus said during his ninth hour of crucifixion about why God has forsaken Him. The phrase is part of this text,"“Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” which means "“My God, my God, why have you abandoned me?”. What was going on in Jesus' head? Why did he utter those words? Let's hear Jesus' last words and talk about sin in the process
